Matador recording artist Cat Power, a.k.a. Chan Marshall, has won critical acclaim for her unsettling, emotional songwriting. The Georgia native released her debut, 'What Would the Community Think?,' in 1996 with 'Moon Pix' in 1998. She is currently touring behind her most recent studio effort, 'Sun,' which not only heralds her first batch of fully original material in over six years, it also features Marshall writing, playing, recording and producing the album all by herself.
