They've operated within the music industry, without ever being a product of that industry, gaining the respect of their peers, not to mention an extremely loyal fan base. Regardless of which way the pop culture breezes are blowing, who is topping the pop charts, who is dominating fashion magazine covers, or who is getting played on the radio, an Indigo Girls' concert experience remains a constant.

Beck
With Jenny Lewis

Mixing a plethora of genres and rhythms combined with truly unique lyrics, Beck has become one of rock's most popular artists. His inventive and eclectic songs put him in the forefront of mid-90s postmodern chic in an era obsessed with junk culture, notably with his 1994 single "Loser" from "Mellow Gold." Over the course nearly a dozen recordings, Beck's stylings have embraced pop, punk, folk, hip-hop, electronica, blues, jazz and Latin musics, cleverly turning the sounds inside-out through collaborations with such names as the Dust Brothers, Nigel Godrich and DangerMouse.

Crosby, Stills & Nash

Rock, Folk
With and without Neil Young's help, David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash had a major impact on the music of the '70s with hits like 'Marrakesh Express,' 'Suite: Judy Blue Eyes' and later 'Southern Cross.' More than four decades since CSN first harmonized in Laurel Canyon, and played their first-ever concert as a trio at the legendary Woodstock festival, its members continue a creative partnership that is one of the most influential and enduring in music. David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash have each been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame two times: once as Crosby, Stills & Nash, and a second time with The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield and The Hollies, respectively. They have also been inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, with the honor recognizing both CSN as a group, and each member as individual solo artists. They are currently on an extensive summer tour to help support the July release of 'CSN 2012,' a Blu-ray/DVD which represents their first live performance film in over 20 years.

Kings of Leon
With Young the Giant, Kongos
Rock, Alternative
Kings of Leon is a band that picks up where Molly Hatchet and Lynyrd Skynyrd left off and adds a dash of modern rock 'n' roll to keep things from sounding too dated. While the band, made up of the Followill brothers (Caleb, Nathan and Jared) and a cousin (Matthew), exhibits a love for loud and dirty rock 'n' roll that made Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama" a radio hit, there's more than long hair and confederate dreams in its music. With a keen ear for gooey pop melodies that hints at a closet love for '60s and '70s pop, the Kings may woo the fans of typical alt-rock balladry as well. Their most well known hits include "Use Somebody" and "Sex on Fire."

Big Gigantic

Rock, Electronic
Big Gigantic, featuring Dominic Lalli and Jeremy Salken, is an instrumental hip-hop and jazz group based out of Boulder, CO, that combines the elements of a DJ with a live band set up. Fusing electronic beats with live saxophone and drums, the duo has played a wide-range of large-scale music festivals such as Bonnaroo, All Good Music Festival, Snowball Music Festival and more, which has helped build their fan base from beyond their loyal Colorado brethren.
