Tony Furtado, an acoustic bluesman, slide guitarist and banjo wizard who grew up in Pleasonton, CA, brings a 21st-century energy, with touches of blues and funk, to his performances. His music is based on feeling and depth of soul and the indie songwriter is also known for his emotionally riveting voice. Often compared to Paul Simon or Ry Cooder, Furtado has spent nearly three decades on the road honing and perfecting his craft.
