Polytoxic Production: The Last Waltz Revisited

This special concert event, which was started by the Denver jam band Polytoxic back in 2005, has become an annual tradition, bringing the community together to ring in the holiday season. It boasts over 40 guest musicians from across Colorado, a full horn section and over 30 songs from The Band's extensive catalog, focusing primarily on songs played during 'The Last Waltz,' a 1978 concert film by Martin Scorsese of their last performance that included many of that era's greatest musicians. Proceeds will benefit the Denver Rescue Mission.

Leftover Salmon formed in 1989 when the local band Salmon Heads asked some members of Left Hand String Band to fill in. They celebrated their 20th anniversary as band on New Year's Eve, playing a show at The Eldo in Crested Butte, the same venue as their very first show. In June 2012, they were featured as the house band at Whales Tail Bar in Breckenridge for the 'Deadliest Catch - After the Catch' episodes.
